The 2026 MOA House of Delegates

The Michigan Osteopathic Association (MOA) Hybrid House of Delegates (HOD) will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the MOA Okemos office. There is also a Zoom option for participants.

Visit the MOA website for more information:  https://domoa.memberclicks.net/hod

The MOA House of Delegates is the legislative and policy-making body of the association. The House is responsible for election of officers and directors, election of AOA delegates and alternates, bylaws amendments, component societies and various policies and positions.

The body of delegates is comprised of physician leaders who are active in their district or county osteopathic component society and are elected by their peers for one-year terms. The number of delegates per society is determined by association membership in the respective area. The House of Delegates receives reports from the officers, committees, and additional matters brought to the body for consideration.

Kent County Osteopathic Association President, Adam Wolfe, DO, (right) and Southwest Michigan Osteopathic Association President, Kevin Beyer, DO (left) take the opportunity to catch up and visit with one another.
KCOA Board Member and MOA Speaker of the House, Dr. Craig Bethune, (far left) and other MOA leaders. Thank you for representing Michigan and your profession!

The Kent County Osteopathic Association seeks to advocate for the physicians of Kent County, advance the science and practice of osteopathic medicine, and provide an arena for osteopathic physicians to support and educate each other and their community.

Don’t forget your 2025 dues payment

Your continued membership in KCOA enables our Board to continue work to improve health care in our communities.  As you are surely aware, there are a number of critical issues being debated locally, regionally, and nationally – our voice is more important than ever!

Tax Deductibility of Your Dues as a Business Expense

Kent County Osteopathic Association estimates that 1% of your 2025 paid membership dues will be nondeductible as this portion is related to lobbying (as defined by law). If you pay your 2025 KCOA dues prior to December 31, 2024, you may deduct up to 99% of that amount as a business expense.

Prompt payment of your 2025 KCOA dues is greatly appreciated.
