Have you ever felt as if you are missing something? It could be some unclaimed property! There may be money held just waiting for you to claim it.
Visit the site: unclaimedproperty.michigan.gov/app/claim-search.
This is a free service provided by the Michigan Department of Treasury Unclaimed Property.
To begin your search, enter your last name, or the name of your practice. To better refine your results, you may also enter your first name and/or middle name. Exact name matches will be shown first. Property for individuals with similar names to the name you entered will follow. A claim number assigned to the property will show in the right column. Use that number in claiming your property.
All properties listed are either $50 or more, stock proceeds, or tangible items such as safe deposit box contents. When you are ready to submit your claim, select “Continue to File Claim” and follow instructions provided.
